VISA INFORMATION
The information detailed below is intended to only
be used as a rough guide with regards for Visas for Greece.
Please check with the Greek Embassy in your
own country for complete details, to make sure that your Visa
application, should you need one, proceeds without any delays
or problems.
WILL YOU NEED A VISA ???
Not everyone will need a Visa to enter and stay in Greece.
Nationals of ALL EU countries, USA, Iceland, Israel,
Japan, New Zealand, Canada, and Australia are able to enter
and study in Greece for a period of up to 3 months (90 days)
without a Visa.
All nationals of other countries will require
a Visa.

Greece is a member of the Schengen Agreement. Spouses
and children of EU nationals (providing spouse's passport
and the original marriage certificate is produced), and nationals
of some other countries, receive their visas free of charge
(enquire at Embassy for further details).
DOCUMENTATION REQUIRED TO APPLY FOR A VISA
For people applying for a VISA to enter Greece, please be
aware that applications will be processed in person only.
Documentation required includes....
1) A valid passport
2) A letter from the University (certified by the Greek
Government),
which is required for a Student Visa.
3) A Health Certificate - this must be an official
certificate
from a Health Institution, which declares that the person
is not
carrying any contagious deseases.
4) 4 colour passport sized photographs.
5) A photocopy of the applicants passport.
OTHER VISA RELATED INFORMATION
Time required to issue a VISA usually takes on average between
5-10 days.
The validity of the VISA will depend on the type issued, ie:
student, work, etc.
Cost of the VISA will depend on Nationality.
